    Project summary:

    The project aims to strengthen the prevention and early diagnosis of noncommunicable diseases through the pilot implementation of programs for the early detection of prostate cancer and abdominal aortic aneurysms in the Prešov Region. The goal is to improve early detection of diseases, increase health literacy among residents, and contribute to reducing preventable mortality. The project includes the development of a simple application for collecting and evaluating data from early diagnosis programs, which will enable the effective processing of results and their use in the development of national prevention policies. The project also includes the organization of international study trips to strengthen the capacities of participating healthcare professionals through participation in workshops, conferences, or short-term internships focused on modern approaches to the early detection of these diseases. The project will strengthen regional coordination and establish a methodological foundation for the nationwide implementation of organized early detection programs.
