{"id":881,"date":"2025-03-05T13:02:23","date_gmt":"2025-03-05T13:02:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swiss-contribution.sk\/?p=881"},"modified":"2025-03-05T13:17:14","modified_gmt":"2025-03-05T13:17:14","slug":"information-seminar-on-the-call-bio02","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swiss-contribution.sk\/?p=881&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Information Seminar for the BIO02 call titled Strengthening Biodiversity in Protected Areas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, as the Programme Operator of the &#8222;Promoting Sustainable Tourism and Strengthening Biodiversity in Protected Areas&#8220; programme, supported under the second Swiss Contribution, informs the public about the organization of an Information Seminar for the BIO02 call titled Strengthening Biodiversity in Protected Areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Information Seminar will take place:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>March 19 at 09:30 online via Microsoft Teams<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in participating in this event, please register via the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfXGBMvUTGJGgDyu9KiNXj36dypG02PtxNrRrOkP35whphp8Q\/viewform\">LINK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This event follows the announcement of the call <strong>Strengthening Biodiversity in Protected Areas<\/strong> (BIO02) in February 2025, aimed at identifying projects focused on the protection of ecosystems and biodiversity in and around protected areas in Slovakia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible Applicants:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Organizations: national administration, regional administration (including associations), local administration (including associations and municipalities), universities\/academies and schools, and non-governmental\/non-profit organizations established as legal entities in Slovakia and operating in the field of environmental protection.<\/p>\n<p>The applicant must demonstrate at least one year of activity in environmental protection preceding the call announcement.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic<\/strong> and <strong>Slovak<\/strong> <strong>National Parks Administrations <\/strong>(hereinafter referred to as &#8222;NPAs\u201d) are not eligible applicants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible Partners:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Organizations: national administration, regional administration (including associations), local administration (including associations and municipalities), universities\/academies and schools, non-governmental\/non-profit organizations, private sector entities, and other organizations established as legal entities either in <strong>Switzerland<\/strong> or <strong>Slovakia<\/strong>, as well as <strong>international organizations<\/strong> actively involved and effectively contributing to project implementation, are considered eligible project partners.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic<\/strong> is not an eligible partner in any selected projects under this call.<\/p>\n<p>Any of the nine <strong>NPAs<\/strong> are eligible partners in projects selected under this call; however, they <strong>cannot<\/strong> be awarded a project grant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funding Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Maximum project grant:<\/strong> \u20ac500,000<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minimum project grant:<\/strong> \u20ac200,000<\/li>\n<li><strong>Co-financing requirement:<\/strong> 5%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total allocation:<\/strong> \u20ac3,150,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information about the BIO02 call, click <a href=\"https:\/\/swiss-contribution.sk\/?vyzvy=strengthening-biodiversity-in-protected-areas&amp;lang=en&amp;csrt=4653899098031428898\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, as the Programme Operator of the &#8222;Promoting Sustainable Tourism and Strengthening Biodiversity in Protected Areas&#8220; programme, supported under the second Swiss Contribution, informs the public about the organization of an Information Seminar for the BIO02 call titled Strengthening Biodiversity in Protected Areas.
