The event was part of a Swiss-Slovak project aimed at improving the quality and attractiveness of vocational education.<\/p>\n<p>Key discussion points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increasing the attractiveness of vocational education for young people and their parents<\/li>\n<li>More intensive link between vocational secondary schools and the labour market<\/li>\n<li>Updating training programmes according to the needs of employers<\/li>\n<li>Greater involvement of entrepreneurs and small employers in the education process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key actors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Representatives of \u0160IOV<\/li>\n<li>Department of Education of the Pre\u0161ov Regional Government<\/li>\n<li>Regional centres of \u0160IOV<\/li>\n<li>Trade unions and professional organisations (S\u017dK, R\u00daZ)<\/li>\n<li>Representatives of small employers and tradesmen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Next steps.
