Representatives of both institutions signed a cooperation agreement on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, at the premises of the Swiss Contribution Office in Bratislava.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative responds to the historically high number of foreign workers in Slovakia and the ongoing labour shortages in key sectors such as industry and transport.<\/p>\n<p>SIVE and IOM will develop practical methodological tools and recommendations to support employers in areas such as legal obligations, onboarding processes, managing cultural differences, and building inclusive working environments.<\/p>\n<p>The tools will be pilot tested directly in companies, and the final version of a practical integration manual is expected to be completed by July 2027.
