Project summary<\/strong>: The main objective is to improve the human-altered water regime (higher flows, better dynamics) in the Danube river branch system by means of specific restoration measures, such as modifications of selected sections of the branches (cleaning, deepening), and by engaging in the process of optimising the simulated flood regime. Supporting arguments in favor of floods will be obtained through regular monitoring of target habitats\/species (amphibians, fish, botanical surveys and monitoring of ecosystem services). Supporting measures such as planting of native trees and elimination of invasives will also help to improve their condition. The project also includes promotion of nature tourism (Danube wildlife observatory, educational model of side arm system), reaching and involving local communities and marginalised groups, awareness raising and education (promotional materials \u2013 wall calendars, glass bottles, sticker tattoos). Location: Danube inland delta (Dobroho\u0161\u0165 \u2013 Bod\u00edky), Ve\u013ek\u00fd L\u00e9l.<\/p>\n
