  • Improving Vocational Maturity: A Step Towards Higher Education Quality

The project “Improving the Quality and Attractiveness of Vocational Education and Training” introduces systemic changes to vocational maturity exams to better align with labor market needs.

At a November 27, 2024 meeting, experts, employers, and school representatives discussed the essential skills graduates need for successful employment. Some schools have already expressed interest in piloting new elements of the vocational maturity exam. The initiative has also received support from the Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Slovak Republic.

Work on these improvements continues to ensure that vocational maturity better prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century.
