Support for the integration of foreigners in the labour market

On December 9, 2024, as part of the project “Improving the Quality and Attractiveness of Vocational Education”, implemented by the State Institute of Vocational Education, an expert discussion on the integration of foreigners into the labor market took place.

Representatives of employers and migration experts identified needs and best practices that will help create effective methodologies to support integration. At the same time, the importance of Slovak language proficiency was confirmed, as it provides foreigners with opportunities for career growth and contributes to job stability.

The outcomes of this discussion will contribute to the development of tools that will help employers better respond to the current challenges of the labor market.
