About the Conference

Organized by the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development, and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, along with the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, this conference is part of the Swiss-Slovak Cooperation Programme. It will provide detailed information about the Program’s goals, activities as well as information about the pre-defined project. The event will also announce a Call for project proposals focused on ecosystem and biodiversity conservation in protected areas. Additionally, attendees will learn about opportunities for collaboration with Swiss experts in the field. This information is sue to interest you!

The aim of the conference

to introduce the Programme and launch the implementation of a pre-defined Programme Component 1.

to present specific activities and objectives of the Programme and Programme Component.
to inform about the possibilities of obtaining a grant and announce a call for proposals for the protection of ecosystems and biodiversity in protected areas in Slovakia.
to inform about Swiss-Slovak cooperation in the field.
to promote cooperation between the partners involved and experts.
to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable tourism and biodiversity conservation and create a space for discussion on challenges and opportunities in nature conservation and tourism development in protected areas.
